Do you feel sad but struggle to understand why? Does your mind or body long to feel relaxed but get stuck in overdrive or shut down? Is it difficult to feel calm, connected, or safe in your relationships? Do you wish to feel more kindness and warmth toward yourself? Are you seeking relief from past traumas, complicated grief, or deep relational wounds?
If so, you’re not alone. These are valid and deeply human experiences, and it’s my honor to walk alongside those who are ready to begin or continue the journey of healing.
Background & Education
As a psychotherapist, I offer a compassionate and grounded space to explore what’s been weighing on your heart and mind. Beginning therapy, you may feel anxious, uncertain, or overwhelmed by the gravity of doing things differently. My goal is to provide the relational safety and attunement necessary to create deep and lasting change– whether that means breaking old patterns, healing attachment wounds, or reconnecting with the parts of yourself that long to be seen, heard, and understood.
I hold a Master of Social Work from Middle Tennessee State University and am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, complex trauma, dissociation, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, and relationship difficulties. I work with adults, adolescents (12+), couples, and families.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach is collaborative, integrative, and rooted in relational and evidence-based practices. I am formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also draw from other modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, attachment-based interventions, and somatic approaches to support each person’s unique path toward growth. I believe healing happens not by “fixing” ourselves, but by becoming more deeply connected to who we truly are—at your own pace, in your own way.
No matter where you’re starting from, I hold the belief that every person carries an inner wisdom—a knowing that can guide them toward healing, connection, and wholeness. My role is to help you access that knowing with curiosity, compassion, and care.
Personal
When I’m not in the office, you can often find me gardening, painting, spending time in nature, or baking sweet treats to share with my loved ones.
